The problem. In a world where the microwave is king, human beings nowadays want to live a fast and furious lifestyle. Fast meals, fast money, fast accomplishments, fast love, or fast relationships. No one wants to put in the work anymore. We would just rather push a button and have it done. Ironically, I bet you that the people who created the microwave and even fast car engines took hours, days, and years to create such innovations. It seems we are becoming victims & preys of our own inventions. In foresight, will we become outright victims of AI and robotics in the long run? Unfortunately, history seems to be pointing in that direction.

Because of the quick fix culture that now exists, don't quote me, but it seems that the mental health of people is getting worse. If we don't get things fast nowadays, we tend to become depressed, anxious, angry, and even disappointed with ourselves. We might even call ourselves failures. Consequently, we contribute to a loveless society because how can we love others when we cannot love ourselves?

The Solution. Exercising patience, can be one of the solutions to the crippling effect of the aforementioned. Patience can curb the toxic and unhealthy appetite to get earthly attractions instantly, thereby mitigating against the human inclinations of self inflicting hatred, anxiety and depression. Further more, knowing how to wait while investing in your life can be the equation for true success. They say that “time is the master”, lets learn from the master by using patience to listen to it.
